Question:

What Are Those Locked/Unlocked Pegs Called?

In a car door (most cars at least) when a car is unlocked the peg is up, and when it is locked the peg is down. What are these little pegs called?

Answer:

Hey trev, Just drain the float bowls and cover up the carbies real good with some wet towels, plug up the end of the fuel lines with some wooden dowel or an old bolt of suitable size, 6mm or 1/4, and then put the welding blanket over the lot and you'll be right. You only get problems with vapour exploding when you weld a fuel tank directly, just welding next to the carbies you won't have any vapour to ignite and the carbies won't get hot.
If water supply pipes are scaled to the point where flow is reduced significantly, the only real option is to replace the pipes. There are acid treatments that could be used, but they also have a tendency to damage fittings or cause pinhole leaks in older pipes. If you re-establish your water softener, there is the slim chance it may reduce the scale buildup over time by itself.
well, there is a sucker born every minute or something like that. that outfit is looking for pockets to pick.
