Question:

what can be causing my smoke detectors to sound if there is no apparent reason?

They start sounding as if smoke triggered them but there is nothing of that sort, they go on for a couple of seconds and they stop on their own. This can continue for hours at a time (usually begins in the middle of the night) with intervals of 20 min to an hour between them. How can I know which one is faulty (THERE ARE 9 IN MY HOUSE) and how can I make them stop?I CAN'T STAND THIS ANYMORE!

Answer:

Even a truck has limits. The more abuse you subject your truck, the more beating it take. The point of speed bump is to slow you down. So slow down BELOW your speed limit. Good Luck
It is a framework for our system of government and laws, not the law itself. It was intended to be changed and the processes for changing it are built in. But what is not actually built in is concept of judicial review to interpret the law within the framework of the constitution. That emerged early in the Courts history as cases came before it. So if Scalia had his way, he would be deciding cases only on what the law said, not what the constitution says. Oh, and by the way for strontium above going on about 'inalienable rights'. They are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. But they are not in the constitution, the are outlined in the Declaration of Independence. Don't you just love it when people who flunked civics class speak up so loudly about civics?
the loud bang could have been the sound of the car bottoming out, as for damage it could have f*cked up anything to do with suspension or steering or could have bent a rim or both of them, tomorrow look under it and make sure nothing is leaking, look under the car and crawl under the car and look for any leaking, if nothing is leaking then i'd take it to an alignment shop or mechanic to just look all those parts over and the rest of the car also from front to back underneath in case something hit when you landed
