Question:

What can I add to make a moist cake?

I'm takin Wilton's cake decorating classes and our teacher gave us a recipie but I personally don't like it because it is too dry! It contains a cake mix box, instant pudding, milk, vanilla, almond butter extractIs there anyone who can share a recipie for a deliciously moist cakeOr is there anything I can add to a betty crocker or store brand cake mix box?

Answer:

the answers are total nonsense.boil the ribs in water untill tender.take out and let them dry a little.fire up the bbq.paint them with your favourite bbq sauce.bbq them.keep basting with the bbq sauce until they are caramelised.sure easier than the rest of the methods on here.always tastes awesome :)
I buy Country Style Boneless Ribs rub the with season salt and then add honey barbecue sauce and bake at 450 degrees for 45 minutes
You can put the cake pan into a larger pan with water half way up the edge of itThis is a water bath (bain marie)It works by limiting the temp of the cake to the boiling point of water and humidifying the oven, which prevents the starch from absorbing all the water in the cake batter due to overcookingProfessional bakers often use special (expensive) steam ovens that inject steam to do the same thing without have to use water bathsPudding is starch - and starch can become too dry when it's over cooked.and it absorbs all of the liquidThe recipe itself could be wrong, having the wrong amount of liquidThe bain marie method is useful to regulate the temp of lots of recipes, particularly cheesecakes If you are using a springform pan for the cake, be sure to double wrap the bottom of the pan in aluminum foil to keep the water from getting into the pan.
