Question:

What cat-back exhaust system should i get for my VW GTI 2009?

I have a 2009 VW GTI and i want a new exhaust. I am most likely getting a KN cold air intake later. But i want an exhaust system now for less then $500. I looked on youtube at some but I only found one that sounds good. BTW id like it to sound deep with a good growl and not all poppy and sputtered. It‘d be nice to have me give me one, that has a sound clip of it and a website where you can buy it at. I am also considering going to CarX auto shop to look at what exhaust systems they got their. NO UNIVERSAL EXHAUSTS THOUGH!

Answer:

that sounds really fun i say do it!
Why not? : D Seems like fun, and if your familiar with the place then go ahead. : P - just make sure the forest isn't too far away from your homes
If you are looking to get better performance I would do a downpipe too, anyway, if you want some good parts for your vw I would totally recomend the following people: ecs tuning - bahn brenner motorsports - 034 motorsports - pag parts - integrated engineering all these guys above have the best parts hands down for Volkswagens
First off, in response to you thinking about that cold air intake garbage.Do you know that episode of Family Guy when Peter says something stupid and Brian rolls up a newspaper and hits him with it while saying no repeatedly? Good, find a newspaper and another person and instruct them to do just that. VW's engineers spend thousands of dollars designing a cold air intake for that car, it's got a turbo doesn't it? Or, it's your money, waste it anyways, you'll lose power but what the hell at least you think your smarter for it.
