Question:

What causes a lowered core temperature?

I have a hard time staying warmMy normal body temperature is 97.3-97.6I weigh 10lbs more than I shouldso its not an issue of body fatIf I am in a cold building all day, my hands and feet literally feel like iceI scare my unsuspecting friends by putting my hands on the back of their neck haha! I keep my apartment between 73-78 degreesAt night I get really cold, and I sleep with a comforter and a fleece blanketMy boyfriend thinks I have poor circulation, and he says when I'm asleep my body feels like I have a feveryet, I'm complaining I'm coldI think its completely normalI've always been like thisopinions?

Answer:

You can use them at any timeJust make sure towards the end of your cycle, when you are really light, to switch to padsAnd use the lowest absorbency level
I've never heard a reason to wait to use tampons except if you have ever had toxic shock syndrome you aren't supposed to use themThey have junior tampons that are slimmer and good for younger women or women with light periods to useThey are better than pads, more comfortable and no odor.
You can use both, like mee! If your dancing or whatever, a sport, outside, moving a lot, use a tamponIf you're going to be at home all day just use a padIt feels more.home-y.? And really, maybe pads seem like gross diapers to youbut tampons are just little diapers that you stick in your vagAre pads really grosser? xDAs for when you should use them, next period, practice using themDon't leave them in for too longMake sure you completely understand how and where to put it in xD.
Weighing an extra 10 lbs more than you should does not constitute that you have extra body fatMuscle tends to weigh more than fat doesLower core temperatures usually indicate poor vascular circulation and/or a slow metabolismRemember, 98.6 is an average temperature for a human body and usually varies within 2 degreesThe type of metabolism and the actual amount of body fat will dictate whether you're warm bodied or cold bodiedIn general, people of northern european and northern asian decent tend to get hot more easily versus people from moderate-temperate-tropical climatesOh and by the way, when people go to sleep, there is a tendency for their body temperatures to increaseIt is due to the fact that the body repairs, digests, and grows when people are at rest more than when they are awakeThe increased body temperature is a direct result of thisThe fact that you are hispanic indicates that you have Native American lineageEuropean traits tend to be recessive.
When pads become too umcomfortable, and when you are okay with the idea of putting something in .there, you can start wheneverIt depends from person to person, whenever you feel ready ;)
