I have a 2000 impala, and just got a aftermarket stereo because the ones on impalas mess up too easily, but anyways i connected all the wires, ground on the screw, all the speaker wires, the ignition wire is hooked up to a red wire coming from the stereo, and im assuming since the other one is red, that this one goes there, and i got the basic GM harness, i dont want to wast money on the chime ones, also got a antenna adapter, but when i plug everything in you can hear it like it just reset then when you press Display, the time an everything else glows up, but turns back off and nothing else works, im assuming its the ignition wire but give me your opinions please.
you didn't connect the wires rightthe plug in to your stereo have all the colors and you connect them to the wire harness same colors, some of em are white and black and solid white so make sure tyou got em all connected right
