What dirt to use for bearded dragons eggs?

Answer:

I use Miracle Gro, Hummus and Manure mixture, vermiculite and you need to fertilize every 2 weeks or so.
I have had great success in my raised beds using the square foot garden soil - 1/3 vermiculite (ace hardware has big bags, best price I found), 1/3 peat and 1/3 compost, the more varieties of compost you can use the better. I got some composted horse manure to use for some of my compost, free and worked great! You can look up the book if you want more tips, but the soil mix is always the same recommendation.
A combination of each of the soil types is the foremost way to prepare your soil. The best mixture is 40% sand, 20% clay, and 40% silt. However I think that the easiest way to do this is to buy the soil at your local hardware store or nursery. Walmart carries soil in the lawn and garden area. If you use your local nursery just let them know what you are doing and they will steer you in the right direction.
