Question:

In Star Trek Enterprise?

What do the different colors of uniform signify, and what are all the rankings? When Crusher goes from half ensign to full, what does this signify? What are the order of ranks on the deck?

Answer:

It would likely settle and become unstable. I have seen napalm used and mixed at a gun show, its definitely not anything you want to mess around with if you dont have experience. It is like vaseline that is on fire and cant be put out. The people who use it at the shows wear full fire suits and more protective equipment than you have seen. If it gets on you there is no putting it out and it will burn to the bone. That is not exaggerating.
Have a look on the web for the accident report on the incident at the Stanford Linear Accelerator. The bottom line was that somebody got seriously injured, gloves and protective gear notwithstanding, because Stanford wouldn't inconvenience their research scientists by shutting down the circuit and making it cold. So, make sure the circuit is cold, breakers off for sure. Then, if you can, use some sort of cheap neon light circuit tester to insure the circuit is really cold and that some other amateur electrician hasn't accidentally created a sneak path back through the same wiring.
It should last 10-20 years if it is sealed up.
That sounds a wonderful idea - you are really green! The air trapped by the pallets and the top sheet will insulate your roof (reducing the amount of heat conducted in) and the reflective material (perhaps a white paint) will reduce the amount of radiant heat from the sun. Some warehouse pallets are made of treated timber, so it will be a few years before they rot. You can always paint them to help them last longer. Planted green roofs sound interesting too, if you want to put in a bit more effort but not spend much.
