Question:

What do u exactly do in a driving test?

What do u exactly do in a driving test?

Answer:

I would think the name is prety self-explanatory. it is a sensor designed to detect smoke. Most use a combination of a small amount of americium and a radiation detector. As the airspace between the two fills with smoke, the amount of radiation detected falls, triggering an alarm. there are other designs that use an LED and a phototransistor in a similar manner.
Almost never. My resin is over 30 years old and still working just fine. You can use a salt that cleans the resin. Its about $2 a bag more. You need to take that brine tank out and clean it, in the bottom you will find sludge which is really organics and debris from the salt. Remove the hoses and give that a good cleaning about once in two to three years. Buy good salt, the cheaper salt has lots of sludge in it. Where I live, my well has a lot of iron in the water. That can attach to the resin and render it inactive. What i do is take a gallon of muriatic acid and mix that with 5 gallons of water. Then when I clean the brine tank out, I put that into the freshly cleaned brine tank and give the system a flush using the knob on the unit to start the flush. The acid in that strength is sufficient to clean out the iron deposits that are causing trouble, but not too strong to hurt the Zeolite resin. After the acid flush is complete, I run the whole system thru another complete cycle of flushing using a filled brine tank with salt and water. Use a water hose to fill the tank if need be. I need to do this about once every 3 years or so as to remove the iron reside that is on the Zeolite resin. Im not advocating you necessarly need the above process, the salt purchased with a cleaner in it is what most people need and use. My water well, has an exceptional amount of disolved iron in the supply water. You can change the resin yourself if you are handy with basic tools by removing the timer head from the circular Zeolite resin container, emptying out the old and putting in the new. WW Grainger sells resin for about $85 for 30. There isnt much to this job if you are handy with tools.
