Question:

what do we mean actually by cc & bhp of a motorcycle???

which vol. refers to cc is it the vol of compressed gases or equivalent to displacement of piston how can we associate bhp with mileage

Answer:

cc is the displacement of the pistons. I don't thinl you can associate bhp (brake horsepower) with mileage. bhp is the horsepower at the output shaft of the motor or engine generating the power. In other words, without power robbing devices like the transmission, alternator, etc., attached. It is the raw power of the engine. Since accessories can vary, I'm not sure associating bhp to mileage is applicable. Hope this helps.
Make sure all the water is out of pipes. I know you said it's new.but you also said it leaks.so you had to turned the water on. Even the smallest amount of water in the pipe will cause steam to build up and push out the solder.so blow out the pipesthen make sure all the valves are open so pressure doesn't build up. Do what the other guy saidheat up the valve or heavy part of pipe.then touch solder to the joint.it should flow in at that time.remove the heat and keep putting solder on for a few more seconds.as it cools the solder will almost suck up into the pipe fitting.
Make sure you drain the pipe. Sand the pipe with fine sand paper, then flux it, make sure it's not to hot and, just hot enough. Put some non-combustible material behind the wall so you don't burn the house down. The solder won't take if there;s water in the pipe. There is a trick to it if you can't get the water out for some reason. A very old but wise plumber taught me this one. Drill a 3/32 hole in the pipe below where your working. When you finish take a sharp pencil, screw the point end into the pipe as far as possible, then snap it off. Use electrical tape to tape over the pencil point, used this method for years without fail. For Stoneytr: I've wore a cowboy hat on my Arabian horse ranch all my life, why do you ask?
1.CC's is the Cylinder Displacement 2.Bhp, is Brake HP at the shaft or to the back tire. 3.You can't associate bhp with mileage except, that the higher the horse power the more fuel it will use.
BHP, Brake Horsepower is a way of measuring the torque of a motor. Basically the more torque a motor has the greater the power it can deliver. To figure BHP and mileage would take a mathematician. 1. Age of the motorcycle, newer motors are machined with great accuracy, making the same 500cc motor get much better mileage than the same motor 10 yrs ago. 2. The weight of the the frame, gearbox, tires, and rider will all be factors. Since the BHP is measured directly from the motor, without the drive shaft, gearbox, and tires, it would be hard to give a precise measurement for mileage. The same motor on different frames, with different sized tires would produce huge differences in mileage.
