Is it possible for my cats to ruin my new (from Craigslist, therefore new to ME) Aeron chair? Please do not answer if you do not own an authentic Herman Miller Aeron Chair.
So put it in the same room as your chair and hopefully it should work. Also, reward them with praise and treats when they scratch the scratch posts. This will let them know they are allowed to scratch and will begin to do it more. At first my cats would get scared when I caught them scratching the designated scratching posts. This is because everytime prior that I had caught them scratching (namely my sectional) they got in trouble.
I don't think anyone knows what the heck an Aeron chair is.
