What schooling and what not do you need to become a real Estate agent and is it a good field to get into? Also what does this job involve a person to do?
You do not have got to be 21, or at the least now not in some states. I got my real property license on the age of 19 and had been/and can be working as an assistant except this summer when i'll start being a full time real estate agent. Certainly a enterprise will take you in, but preserve in mind that promoting pricey houses and gaining appreciate can be tougher than you initially imagined, exceptionally in case you are simply promoting as a aspect job.
google your state's Real Estate board of licensing. it is not an employee business , u have to hustle to earn an income. the top 20% make 70% of the sales. the bottom 80% make 30% of sales. many do not get through their first five year. most need a second income their first 3 years. do your research.
Britney, Every state is different you need to check with your state licensing agency and they can provide you with the requirements to get licensed in your state. Most states require a real estate salesman's course be taken and then the individual must pass the state examination to obtain a license. Please keep in mind that all the above referenced real estate sales in the course teaches you is about the lot in your state. It will not teach you how to fill out contracts, develop leads, show properties, hold open houses, etc. etc. If you are getting into the real estate business for the first time I would suggest that you approach the local offices of the major real estate companies (franchise companies) to begin your career. To be more specific I would suggest you contact your local Century 21 office as it is this type of company that will have the best and most complete training for a novice. You will need to study, learn scripts, learn how to farm, complete contracts etc. etc. but you will learn it faster here than at a local independent agency that doesn't have the training resources that someone like Century 21 does. You will have to work hard and diligent the first couple years until you develop the skills to develop leads and service customers. After the first 2 to 3 years you will have the opportunity to earn a satisfactory income based upon your labors. Real estate is a great business as people are always buying and selling homes.
