Question:

what do you think of bulldozer now that its come out?

some of the benchmarks dont look so great, but im still leaning towards getting the 8150. most of the benchmarks ive found have been running really low resolutions, plus im thinking software optimizations are probably coming soon. What are your thoughts on it?

Answer:

I've read reviews that people say its still not better then the Intel i7, Bulldozer sucks I'll never buy it.
i dont belive those benchmarks, it will take time to optimise applications for bulldozer. Anyway its perfomance is between i7 and i5 in current benchmarks which is justifying its price point.
Well its one of the most awaited processor from Amd since it follows completely new architecture..i would not really believe in the benchmarks ,because they have not been officially released yet..it should be capable of atleast competing with sandybridges if not better
FX-8150 is between i5 2500 and i7 2600 in multi-threaded benchmarks. Thats a horrible result from CPU that is supposed to be an 8-core In single-threaded benchmarks, Bulldozer is huge failure
Meh. At least it's competitive with the Sandy Bridge Core i5 2300-2400, so it's not terrible. It certainly makes the AM3+ platform a viable alternative. But honestly I don't think anyone expected it to beat Intel's higher-end Core i5/i7 processors. Intel simply has more powerful and efficient architecture- AMD hasn't been ahead on raw computing power since the old days of Athlon X2, before Intel came out with Core 2 Duo.
