what does ecu light mean in a 08 dodge magnum?
Im assuming you mean when you turn the key. Normally it means there is no power going to th ecu. I have the same problem but most of my electrics dont work and the car wont start even though the engine turns and tried jump starting it. Check the wires

its the check engine light basically ,all it does is monitor the emission system and a few of the electrical system that operate the car,if it comes on then it means there's a problem with it,auto zone or advance auto either one will scan the computer free of charge for you and tell you why the light came on,its comes on normally when you first turn the key on and should go off once the car is started,good luck
