Question:

What does light light bearer mean?

I have heard many people say that Lucifer or Satan is a light 'bearer'. **- The Latin Vulgate version of the Bible used this word twice to refer to the Morning Star: once in 2 Peter 1:19 to translate the Greek word Φωσφ?ρο? (Phosphoros), which has exactly the same literal meaning of Light-Bringer that Lucifer has in Latin. What is the true nature of a Light-Bringer or Bearer? AND (serious question) .....Should we go to light when we die?

Answer:

dear sister, in my studies along the way... i found in the Psychological Commentaries on the Teachings of Gurdjieff by Maurice Nicoll that light represents consciousness. that thought has stuck with me... so i would say that the true nature of a Light-Bringer or Bearer is a Conscious Being and that their Light is truly a Gift of God. one might extrapolate the idea that if we abuse the Gift... we can lose the Light... for example faint or lose consciousness. Christ is our highest example of a Light-Bearer and Ephesians 3:19-20 is worth 'reflecting upon'... as well as all the teachings of our Lord. When we love one another... certainly we are shining light upon them but once again that is a Gift of our Divine Father and LORD. i once painted a mural while attending university studies that had a picture of a child walking along a deserted road with lamps guiding the way. i had run to the light little one painted on the wall as well. it brought me many happy moments as i considered the art work. many times we hear of someone passing away and going through a tunnel and there is light at the end of the tunnel and great peace and love. i believe that we all have a choice to enter into the light or choose the darkness of ignorance and despair. it is light that allows us to see... and light has many amazing properties... it acts both as a wave and a particle and though we understand much... we still do not fully understand light. Now all of us, both Jews and Gentiles, may come to the Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us. -Ephesians 2:18 God Bless
Lucifer was the term for the morning star (the planet Venus). It was an honorific title of the king of Babylon, who was the person they were talking about in that verse.
I think that you are talking about the fact that in the Old Testament, Lucifer was originally the most beautiful angel and was compared to the morning star. He was like a bright light. Then after his pride and rebellion, he was cast out of God's Presence and to Earth like a falling star.
Good question! kind of makes us wonder who the nature of light and who the good guys and the bad guys are, eh? Well, the name of lucifer was given to that being because he was the angel which he loved best, he gave him six pairs of wings, and the title of Light-bringer... I believe the christian moral of the story is biting the hand that feeds you, as in answering kindness and love, with hatred, pride and spite. The nature of a light-bearer is similar to that of a mortal crusader, or of an angelic cherub. To spread the light and word to those who have not yet heard/seen it. But. there's always a but. the nature of a light-bearer can always lead into fanaticism and forcing other people to believe like he does.
