Question:

What form of packaging is best for long-term storage of beer?

I'm starting to brew beer as a hobbyI know beer is vulnerable to damage by ultraviolet light and also by oxygen so what do you recommend for packaging methods?Polyester terephthalate (PET) plastic bottles (soda bottles) OR Clear glass bottles with crown seal cap (Corona? - style bottles), OR Pop-top aluminum can with inert PVC lining (beverage cans)Thanks in advance!

Answer:

You can boil some rice in your small pot, roast some chicken veggies on your cookie sheet, and mix 'em together with some teriaki or soy sauce for a mock stir-fry.
every one has really good ideas on cooking but I have 2 suggestions on getting cook wareI would say check the 2nd hands but a lot of times they raise the pricestry going to yard sales on satmorning as early as possible you can find great deals on itemsnext, go to a dollar store in your area they dont have the best quality but I have seen pots frying pans for $1.00good luck
Try a thrift store or garage salesChristmas is coming up so that would be a great gift to ask for or even a gift cardThe possibilities are endless with the tools you haveFoil will help you also.
Clear glass bottles and clear plastic are some of the worst you can use for beerLight can penetrate those bottles and skunk the beer which is why Corona usually has that skunky tasteFact is, beer is not supposed to taste like that Aluminum is the best way to go.
