A lightning rod attached to the top of the building with a ground wire attached to it and going down towards a ground rod that is down in the ground would work. Lightning rods are not 100% effective. Apparently, the TD troll doesn't understand grounding.
Because they were afraid that the rod would attract the devil. So much with stupidity.
