I use vinegar and water and baking soda all the time to clean and i never use rubber gloves. In fact, I rarely use rubber gloves at all no matter what I'm doing. These cleaners will not hurt you if you don't use the gloves. Most people just use them to protect their hands from drying out. Just use some good moisturizing lotion after using them and you shouldn't have a problem.
