Question:

What helps you lose weight more; high protein snack bars, or high fiber ones?

I eat a bar once a day (I'm on a diet,) and I was wondering, what will help me lose more weight, a high protien one or high fiber?

Answer:

Do both have similar prices and neighborhoods and landscaping? The upgrades for house 1 will require a lot of cashDo you have it? Either way you go you need to find the best home inspector that you can.
I lean to the 60's one, but you should ask for heating bills for the last year for bothBaseboard heat isn't always badDon't be turned off by the ageMy house is over a hundred years old and still solidQuality of construction and maintainence matters more than age.
On house 2 ( 1960s) be sure to look closely at Electrical and InsulationIs house 1 6 wall construction? or 4? I'd be tempted to lean towards the 1980s house IF the needed items are priced in correctlyAt least in my area, late 70s and 80s building was pretty good (better structure than current code) 60's building has the Good, Bad, Ugly hereIn any case, Be sure to get an independent HOME INSPECTION before closing - Best money you will ever spend! Good Luck
I was all about buying a fixer upper (closer to your 80s house’s condition), and I still love my house, but about a month into the project, I started to get really overwhelmed and was thankful we have a few years to get everything done For about a $25K price difference, and that’s before any negotiations, to have that many upgrades would be worth it to meIf nothing else, do numbers: Heat AC $5,000 Doors let’s estimate 10 150/each $1500 (that’s assuming you don’t need exterior doors, they’re more) Electric upgrade $2,500 (I think that’s what my home inspector estimated for us a few months ago) Hardwood $5,000 Bathrooms $3,000/each $9,000 (and that’s conservativeWindows $7,000 So total cost if you had to do these upgrades yourself $30,000 and always remember that you cannot expect to recoup total costs of any home upgradeSo if you do all this work to house 1, you can only expect to get a percentage of your cost as added value My home is from the 50s, and it would take a rock bottom price to get me to buy anything newer than the 1960sOlder homes are usually built to last longer than newer ones Don’t worry! You have a buyer’s agent, right? They’ll walk you through this and just make sure you get a professional inspection on which ever one you decide to buy.
Go with as high in both fiber AND protein content as you can findAtkins bars (the chocolate PB one in particular) are excellent~M~
