I am searching for a good deal, but there are SO many sitesI am leaving next week and will be arriving in NYC in May, even though I don't really want to spend more than $150 a night on a hotel I really want to take my partner to a great spot, iea hotel in Times Sq or near 52nd st or somewhere there's a lot of actionThere are just so many to choose, any suggestions for what are the top hotels to keep an eye out for great deals? ieRaddison? Hilton? Jumeirah Essex house?

Things might be cheaper in this economy, but for 150 a night in those areas you'll be lucky if the room doesn't sit on-top of a subway line so you get shaken out of bed every-night, the heat or a/c in the room will leak toxic fumes, the bathroom won't be much better then a bucket and a water bottle NYC hotels are expensive $150 sounds way to cheap for a great spotIf you really want to get a deal stay in NJ and take the train or ferry into the city every morningJust stay close to a train station or the ferry service.
