Question:

What if I bent the frame on the front of my car.?

I know it sounds dumb but I hit a fire hydrant with my car. I know I messed up the radiator and I am pretty sure I bent the front frame pretty good. Is this something that can be fixed. How do you go about it and does it cost tons. I have a 2007 pontiac g6. I'm not worried about the little body damage for now I just need to drive to do work?

Study and you'll learn the answers instead of cheating
The thumping you hear is probably your tires hitting the wheel well, which means your shocks are probably ready to be replaced. Since most of your car's weight is up front, they wear out more quickly than the rears. Generally they last about five years. How old is your car? The best way to check your shocks is to have your mechanic look at them. Or you could bounce the front end of your car up and down to see how quickly it bounces back, and how difficult it is for you to do so. You may only need to replace the fronts. Cost can be anywhere from $250.00 - $600.00 depending on whether you've got just shocks, or McPherson struts. Hope this helps.
