Question:

What iron supplements can you take for an Iron iron deficiency?

I‘m 14 and have a BAD iron deficiency. Could you give me iron supplement names or anything to take for it? I bought iron but it said its not for an iron deficiency?

Answer:

The problem with supplements, is that your body has a hard time absorbing iron for some reason. absorbing any other nutrient, through supplement use, is much much easier than for iron. for some reason, our bodies have a harder time to absorb iron. The best would be to get an iron infusion that the doctor gives you. If i were you, I would talk to the doctor about getting an iron infusion. PS: if you're low in iron, you're probably low in vitamin B12 too. take a vitamin B-complex supplement daily and take probiotics (because probiotics even help to MAKE B12!!) google any of this info i gave you that you don't understand. FYI: caffeine (coffee, pop/soda), alcohol, laxatives, and medication/drugs deplete (takes away) nutrition!
Remedy times range, depending on the person patient, and the measure of deficiency. Mainly speaking, one to 2 weeks earlier than re-analysis. Care need to be taken not to push the patient into the opposite extreme, Hemochromatosis - which is an way over free iron within the blood. I don't propose self-medicating for this . If you endure from IDA, you have got to have been identified through a physician or other physician. I *highly* advise you comply with his or her prescribed medication.
