A composite door is a door that is made out of composite material. The benefits are that they generally stay straighter longer and are not as susceptible to the elements, keeping your door sealed and safer. That being said I have seen a few composite doors with an inch bow to them. My suggestion is to buy the best you can afford. A good quality composite steel re-enforced door will last a good long time and provide you with a secure entrance. They can be painted also and some manufactures require specific paint for them so check into that as well. cheers
