Question:

What is bolted on behind the front brake disc, on 99 Isuzu Rodeo 4x4 LS. It looks like a gear of some kind.?

There is a hose going to the middle of the brake disc. on the inside of the disc there is a gear that bolts on to the disc. Well i was woundering do i need that gear? My new brake disc does not have holes for the gear. Thank You!

Answer:

It will consume all the available oxygen, which a blanket won't help you with,
when the fire is hot enough to melt aluminum, steel, titanium, and all sort of metals, that is hot. when the two planes rammed into the twin towers, about 30mins later it was about 3500degree F. That's hot. like the Paris Hilton will say.
SOunds like ABS sensors. If your truck has ABS, then you might want to have them gears for the ABS to work properly.
it sounds like you have abs brakes. if so that hose has wires inside to a sensor. this sensor senses the movement of the gear. if this is so, there will be a different disc you have order.
Anti lock Brake System sensor. They're prone to break so be very careful! That's not a hose it's wire for the sensor. Sounds like you have the wrong disc if there are no mounting holes.
