What is fiberglass reinforced polyurethane made of?

What is fiberglass reinforced polyurethane made of?

Answer:

In STO products, glass fibers are arranged in parallel along the length of the plate, thereby improving longitudinal performance. In SXO products, glass fibers are implanted in three different axial directions, forming a three-dimensional "Pyramid" or triangle in the plate. This leads to quasi isotropic effects, which make the material and mechanical properties of the longitudinal and transverse layers relatively equal.
The purpose of STO and SXO core material is vacuum assisted resin transfer molding process. It is understood that, in the molding process to withstand a atmospheric pressure of the cheapest foam material is rigid polyurethane foam.
The manufacture of these products is the use of patented equipment to implant glass fibers into polyurethane foam panels. Fiber glass (E glass fiber roving bobbin) from the exit after continuous implantation without cutting short board.
