Question:

What is required to pass the MD auto inspection?

Anyone have a list? What if the AC/Heating does not work?

Answer:

A) - With today's advancement in technology every safety precaution should be taken advantage of. Why not it may save lives.
C. I do not like them. I drive in various bad conditions, and I was well taught. I do not like the trend of taking control from the operator and putting it in machinery's hands (for lack of a better term). I believe that operators should be taught not just control, but also responsibility. Both are sadly lacking today. It is getting worse as cars become safer. Truth is, I feel they attempt to compensate for inadequate skills.
i have mixed feelings on anti-lock brakes. while they are useful for the average driver who doesnt understand vehicle dynamics, and doesnt understand how to use threshold braking under all conditions, they are a detriment to those of us who do take pride in driving, and are more than capable of stopping in low traction conditions without the use of computer controls. thus i would have to answer i do not like anti-lock brakes.
