Question:

What is the best product to clean brand new laminate floors?

I just got my floors replace and I need a good product to clean them. Something that works, easy to use and not too pricey.

Answer:

Rip them up and install real oak with 3 coats of varnish.
I use plain white vinegar and water in a spray bottle with a microfiber mop. My floors are rustic looking, so I don't see streaks or anything like that, but you might if yours are the shinier type floors. Try a small inconspicuous spot and see if it works for you.
A new laminate floor should only need to be damp mopped with water. A bit of vinegar will keep it from streaking if you have hard water. If you have a nasty spill, use some mild cleaner & rinse well with water and vinegar.
