Question:

What is the calculation of the clearance between the air inlet of large fans and the impeller?

What is the calculation of the clearance between the air inlet of large fans and the impeller? What are the adjustment methods?

Answer:

Very simple, insert 20-30mm, clearance 15mm or so, 12mm, 10mm, as long as the minimum clearance in the 8mm on the line, the gap is larger, it does not matter, to ensure that inserted into the air inlet. Drawings have technical requirements, but slightly larger than the drawings, will not rub the impeller
Adjustment: fine adjustment ---- cushion thrust tile, big adjustment --- adjust the bearing seat or the air inlet of the shell (the air inlet and the shell are bolted)
The air gap between the inlet and the impeller is related to the draft efficiency. The general negative pressure is 25Kpa, and the clearance is 6~8mm. (empirical data) too small --- mill shells. It depends on the end face of your impeller.
