Question:

What is the difference between the inherent opening time and the full disconnection time of the high voltage circuit breaker?

What is the difference between the inherent opening time and the full disconnection time of the high voltage circuit breaker?

Answer:

Inherent opening time: no load time Full breaking time: with load opening time = no load sub-gate time + arc time
Opening time (breaking time): The time interval from the moment when the opening moment of the mechanical switch is instantaneously to the end of the arc time. Bounce time switch The time between the movable contact and the static contact from the first separation (or closing) to the last stable separation (or closing).
The opening time includes: full disconnection time and arcing time. Introduction: Opening time (breaking time) = arcing time + full disconnection time. Full Disconnection Time: The time interval from the moment the opening operation is instantaneously to the moment where all the pole contacts are separated. The time interval from the moment that the first arc was generated to the moment that all polar arcs were finally extinguished.
