Question:

What is the difference on motorcycle tires?

Ok I am looking at tires and there are 180‘s and 190‘s and I get that. But it usually says something like 190/55zr 17. I know what the 190 is, and the 17 What is the difference between a 50zr and a 55zr. Thanks!

Answer:

Both the drivers and passengers side are linked togerther and run off the same motor, so if only one has stopped, I would say it is either a linkage problem, or the wiper arm (or the nub it sits on) has stripped out
if the drivers side is the only 1 isnt working, then its not the motor. check to see if the wiper arm popped off of the motor.
One motor drives BOTH sides. Remove the wiper arm and see if the splined drive end shaft or inside the wiper arm is damaged. If the one side works, the motor is fine. ADDED: Lift the wiper arm all the way up. Use a small flat tip screwdriver, or butter knife to slide the wiper lock clip thingie out. Jiggle the arm and lift it off the drive arm. Now, look inside the arm for damage/stripped?
50 aspect ratio Z speed rating R Radial construction
190/55zr 17 The second number (55) is the aspect ratio expressed as a fraction of the Tyre's width (190) Therefore the sidewall height should be around 104.5mm ((55% of the tyre width (190mm))
