What is the mineral composition of marine sedimentary rocks and volcanic rock? Any help would be AWESOME!?

Answer:

Marine sedimentary rocks - mineral composition depends on nature of the rock. Some are made up of calcium or magnesium carbonate (limestone and dolomite), others of quartz sand, and still others of clay minerals and rock particles (sandstones, siltstones and shales). In the marine environment the siltstones and shales are more common than the sandstones, which tend to be deposited on or very near the coastline. Volcanic rocks are made up of quartz, alkali and plagioclase felspar, and various ferro-magnesian minerals like hornblende, biotite and olivine in varying proportions depending on the type of volcanism plus numerous accessory minerals,.
