Question:

What is the name of the hose that comes off the coolant reservoir?

I have a 1989 Jeep Cherokee inline 6 cylinder and I need to replace the hose that runs from the reservoir and splits, one goes down to the thermostat housing unit, and the other one goes up to, what looks like, the fire wall. I'm pretty sure it's all the same hose after looking at it. I just need to know what the name of that hose is to replace it. Please Help and Thanks!

Answer:

1. B is unsafe. We never heat anything in a stoppered vessel . The vapors must be allowed to escape or the build up of pressure can cause the vessel to explode sending glass and hot solvent about the laboratory. With any luck the stopper pops before the vessel breaks, but it will still make a mess. 2. We can eliminate A and B with the above rule. A hot plate is a safer choice than an opened flame for boiling a flammable solvent. So the answer is D.
The costs can vary depending on how complete the kit is does it come with wiring and plumbing?trim?fixtures?.. flooring? as well as local labor rates and extras like building on slab/crawlspace or basement, ground prep, septic, water lines, bringing in power, etc.. in general, the labor costs can be from 2/3 to 3/4 of the total price compared to materials to give you a rough ballpark.i.e. 51K in total materials is 1/4 to 1/3 the total build cost. I would check around with various local builders/contractors and get price quotes to build and referencesthey can give you prices based on the square footage of the home and any extras. I would also suggest you upgrade the materials to include 2 X 6 exterior walls (if they aren't already) and better/thicker insulation in walls/attic which will save on heating/cooling costs down the road. Make sure to include hurricane clips from the rafters to studsmay be code in your area to prevent tornado damage. Many kit homes are just basic components and may need upgrading to meet code or better quality.plan on modifying the kit or altering materials.
