I went to go see transformers yesterday and one of the previews shows a bunch of people at a party with someone videotaping the party. Then there are explosions in the distance and at the end the head of the statue of liberty lands in the street. They don't say what the name of the movie is but it has a january of 2008 release date. Does anyone know the name of this movie?
I thought I saw, in quotes, that it was called Bad Robot. Maybe it is/was a working title.
Cloverfield, which revolves around a monster attack in New York as told from the point of view of a small group of people, is being produced by J.J. Abrams. It is being directed by Matt Reeves, who co-created Felicity with Abrams, and is written by Drew Goddard, who has worked with Abrams on Lost and Alias. The movie, which is believed to have a relatively modest budget of about $30 million, began shooting in mid-June in New York. With Transformers generating huge tracking numbers in the weeks before its release, the studio decided to put footage from Cloverfield in a teaser in front of Transformers to build buzz. Cloverfield might just be a working title though. It is still being shot in New York.
Yeah I have the same question. I went to see Transformers and I was like what the hell? That is a movie made by the no-name brand. I do not think it is I Am Legend, thought that looks like a good movie. That name of the movie was sort of obvious. ^^
