Enough ice cream to make 4 3-4 diameter balls 2-3 eggs Corn Flakes or Frosted Flakes Cinnamon sugar Form the ice cream into 4 round balls, each 3 or 4 inches in diameterPlace the ice cream into a freezer for 15 minutesRemove the balls, roll them in beaten eggs, then roll them in crushed corn flakes or frosted flakes, then place them back in the freezer for 20 minutesRepeat this process twiceHeat oil in a pot make sure it's burning hot, and fry the breaded ice cream balls for about 5 to 8 seconds, or until lightly brownRemove them as soon as they are done to avoid melting the ice cream inside! Place them back in the freezer until it is time to serve themYou can add Cinnamon and Sugar before or after you cook it
what you need: 1 ptvanilla ice cream 1/2 ccrushed corn flakes or cookie crumbs 1 tspcinnamon 2 tspsugar 1 egg Oil for deep frying Honey Whipped cream Scoop out 4 or 5 balls of ice creamReturn to freezerMix crumbs, cinnamon and sugarRoll frozen ice cream balls in half the crumb mixture and freeze againBeat egg and dip coated balls in egg, then roll again in remaining crumbsFreeze until ready to use (for thicker coating repeat dipping in egg and rolling in crumbs)When ready to serve, heat oil to 350 degreesPlace a frozen ice cream ball in fryer basket or on a perforated spoon and lower into hot oil 1 minuteImmediately remove and place on dessert compoteDrizzle with honey and top with a dab of whipped creamContinue to fry balls one at a timeBalls will be crunchy on the outside and just beginning to melt on the inside4-5 servings
