What kind of material is used to cut and shape Jadeite?

I've read that Jade is harder than steel and cannot be cut easilyThe Jade is shaped and cut only by a material which is even HARDER, but I don't know what Material, Can someone tell me?

OMG!! that just happened to me the other day!!! at first i just tried to tape over it but that didnt workthen i decided to try using a condom, and guess what!!! it worked like a charm) hope i cold be any help
it wont dry upit ill only dry up if you let it fall on the grounddont worry it wont dry.
Take a cap from a different pen.If it fits okay youd be surprised at how it works to keep it from drying out!
High carbon or tungsten steel will mark it but best to use electroplated diamond mounted bits or aluminium oxide grinding stones to shape and carve itTo polish use various grades of abrasive papers and stainless steel polishing compoundsBut note best to use abrasive rather than percussive methods as the stone can fracture if struckThe other ethical decision is that the best Jadeite comes from Burma or Myanmar a repressive dictatorship.
