What kind of steel is used in steel columns?

Answer:

At present, there are 3 kinds of steel pile commonly used in engineering construction, they are steel pipe column, steel column and steel sheet pile.
Compared with other steel piles, steel pipe piles have their own advantages in many aspects, such as long joint welding, single pile bearing capacity, bending rigidity and penetration ability.
Section I and H of steel reinforced piles belong to the common section shapes in steel reinforced concrete piles. I and H type steel piles can be used in horizontal load and vertical load bearing. The steel pile has stronger penetration ability in many kinds of strata, moreover, its disturbance to stratum is slight, it is a kind of partly squeezed soil pile. If the distance between the driving pile and the center is smaller, the H steel pile can be used to replace other piles to prevent the ground fault caused by piling operation, such as lateral extrusion, uplift and so on.
The steel sheet pile has various forms, and the sides of the steel sheet and the joint groove are different in shape. The second plate, after the first one is in place, takes the front sheet of the sheet pile and the side notch is used as the driving point. As a result, a plurality of sheet piles may form relatively complete sheet pile walls along the coast (or bank of the river). In addition, a group of steel sheet piles can be used for temporary retaining protection when the foundation pit is excavated or excavated.
