Question:

What kinds of soap can I use instead of laundry detergent?

I realize that I ran out of laundry soapYep, and even on laundry day! I heard you can add shampoo to your wash but, how much? I also have Ivory dish washing soapCan I use that? How much should I use? And will either of these methods actually get my clothes clean? And I have to wash a large, thick blanket so should I use more soap? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciatedThanks!

Answer:

Well, the 1000lb ball was lifted 50ft ( WFd) 50000 ftlbs The weight of the cable is (6lb/ft)50ft 300 lbsThe cable weight can be assumed to be a point mass at the 25ft point, so lifting the cable involved another (300lb)(25ft) 7500 ftlbs The total work is therefore 57500 ftlbs
your better off running out and buying more laundry detergent because it's a specific product designed to clean cloth fibersDish soap is not designed to to the same job so leave the dish soap for your dishes.
