Question:

What metals are not attracted by magnets, please?

What metals are not attracted by magnets, please?

Answer:

We call paramagnetic and diamagnetic substances weak magnetic substances, and ferromagnetic substances are called ferromagnetic substances. Generally referred to as magnetic material is a strong magnetic material. Magnetic materials are difficult to be divided into soft magnetic materials and hard magnetic materials after magnetization. It is easy to remove the magnetic material after magnetization. It is called soft magnetic material. The material which is not easy to touch is called hard magnetic material. Generally speaking, soft magnetic materials have less remanent magnetism, and hard magnetic materials have larger remanence.
According to the molecular current hypothesis, matter should exhibit roughly similar properties in a magnetic field, but it tells us that the properties of matter in the external magnetic field vary considerably, reflecting the limitations of the molecular current hypothesis. In fact, the microstructure of various substances is different, and the difference in the structure of this material is the reason for the difference in magnetic properties.
Experiments show that any substance can be magnetized more or less in an external magnetic field, but only in varying degrees of magnetization. According to the characteristics of a substance in an external magnetic field, substances can be roughly divided into three classes: paramagnetic, diamagnetic, ferromagnetic.
Generally speaking, as long as ferromagnetic materials are attracted by magnets, they mainly contain iron, cobalt, nickel and their alloys, ferrites. Other metals are not attracted by magnets.
