what part do i need to buy for my car, for the windshield wipers. They dont work or make noise.?

Hi Rick, its hard to tell from your description, if you are mech. Inclined check the circuit fuse its in the fuseblock cover should identify, visually inspect, test with multimeter or testlight for continuity if its good check wiper motor for current when you turn wipers on,if its got battery voltage present the internal brushes maybe worn or motor or linkage are frozen. If no current is present at motor the on/off switch or wiring from switch to motor are defective. If the motor operates when you tap the housing with switch on then the motor/brushes are worn.
