What parts of car disc brake system wear off?

Answer:

All the parts wear or deteriorate in one manner or the other. Pads, rotors, calipers, brake lines, brake hoses, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, you name it. If the brake fluid was flushed every two years, then the only the pads and rotors may need replacing.
I'm Sorry. but how is it you are buying the brakes from a drift/tuner car owner for your car and you DONT know what wears on a brake system?!! The simple answer is the Pads Rotors but if these brakes were used in actual drifting, who's to say what kind of heat the calipers have been subjected to or how much stress has been applied to the mounting hardware I would say buy them at you own risk and learn a little about the brake system on your vehicle as you go good luck
You are in the right without a doubt, but auto drivers that have accidents with bikes always say he came out of no were and was going too fast. Now some how it becomes your fault for their incompetence.
Either you were going too fast, not paying attention, or her car was able to change directions at lightning speed for you miss the entire front 3/4 of her car and hit the rear quarter panel. You should have been able to avoid the accident no matter how stupid her maneuver was.
Calipers rarely go bad, why put his abused ones on your car? You should be able to buy new rotors and pads for less than 400 quid.
