Question:

What's the name of liscence I'd need to get to drive a cargo ship across the East Bay?

Derrr, get a boating liscence and then move upWell, I have a mighty fascination with the sea and BIG and I mean BIG ships! I want to learn everything possible about the process in getting a liscence to command one of those monstersI look over the East Bay from Rhode Island once a week or so and just watch in awe for minutes at a time, sometimes for a half hour or soThe tugboats come in, turn it around, it positions itself and the crane operators get to work all day loading salt or whatever it isI watch the process too, unload, drop, dump truck picks it up and then distributes it somewhere in back of a large warehouseAnyway, if anyone with boating/shipping experience could tell me, I'd be greatful as I have little time to search the internet.
