Question:

What Safety Precautions Do I Take at a Tattoo Party?

Yes, I have already made up my mind to host a tattoo party in my home. I have read all of the cautionary tales and risks involved. With that said, I am looking for anyone who has actually hosted one to let me know what things I can do to make the environement safe for my guests other than the obvious of not letting every Tom, Dick and Harry in the area where the tattoos are being done, provide a clean area for the work to be done, make sure artists are using autoclaves, disposable needles and tubes, fresh ink, gloves, non-porous mat on the floor, etc? I would appreciate only hearing from someone who has hosted a party or is an artist who has done a party. If you haven't been to one or hosted one or is an artist, than your opinion really does not count.

Answer:

You don't want to use batts on a basement ceiling, if you ever have to access the wiring or pipes it will be a huge pain. They make ceiling tiles that are insulated and they also make ones that have sound proofing. Either of them would do the trick. Good luck.
Yeah you could screw off the top of the boosters from Rippin' Rocket and attach the rubber band on there, and put the cap back on so it'll stay on. Or you could go online and buy Chain Links (if you don't have enough) and use a motor, attach a rod through the hole, put a wheel on it (the small kind) attach another wheel to the other fulcrum (where the chain ends) and attach the assembly accordingly. If that doesn't work try the boosters with the cart from the Rippin' Rocket then use the red track and remake the old coaster. I have been into Knex for a long time I hope my insight could help.
