Fire hose or fire extinguisher??

Answer:

Today's theater was all about starting to resurrect a failed public image. That makes it our business. Today's theater had nothing to do with his wife, kids, mother or family. Those fences will be mended in privacy. Personally, I think his statement today should have simply been an announcement that he was withdrawing from public life so that he can be with his wife and family.
Tigerwoods funded millions of dollars into our economy. Not only that, by being in commercials and advertisements, he provided thousands of jobs for our nation. Now that he's no longer going to golf, many companies have lost the millions of dollars that they depended on. As a result, people are fired. So ya, it's none of our business what Tigerwoods does, but his actions definitely affect our economy. Hope this helps!
It's not, and I wish he'd just crawl back under his golf bag and go away!! But to respond to your comments.. It is his sponsors business (literally), what he gets caught doing in the public eye, due to the financial ramifications he can have on their business. And you are quite right about the part where we would die from embarrassment if we were thrust into the public eye.
Electric blankets are very safe. Space heaters can start fires. Your landlord is required by law to provide heat. Call the building inspector or city hall or the health department. The cleaning is an excuse.
A man crashing into a fire Hydrant and tree at 2:00am after his wife busted out his car windows would make small time local news if it had happened to an average. But you put that situation with a billion dollar, world famous athlete and you've got a global news story. In life you have to take the good with the bad. The same media that uplifts you for your triumphs will tear you down for your failures. Tiger woods knew this; he had seen others like Bill Clinton and Kobe Bryant fall from grace before him. Tiger Woods knew he was famous and that his infidelity could be discovered would damage his personal life and career, but he acted like a whore anyway. This is Tiger's fault not the public's.
