Question:

What should I do with this fresh thyme and/or sage?

I bought some fresh thyme and sage for a recipe and used very little of itNow I have the rest of the box sitting in the fridge looking at me and I have no idea what to do with itGot any yummy recipes that use fresh thyme and/or sage?

Answer:

you should put aluminum paper over it when you bake it.
Cover it with foil during part of the baking.
I always put sauce on the top, before I put the cheeeseThis way they are not crunchYou need some moisture for the top ones to cook.
you could make a roasted chicken or turkey and put the fresh herbs under the skin with some garlicthat would be really goodIf you don't want to use them now, you can always stick them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper (or even aluminium foil) and bake at a really low temperature (200F max) until they dry outthen you can use them as dry herbs instead
