Question:

what specifications to look for when buying laptop?

i have no clue about laptops whatsoever.also how to be able to watch tv on laptop.

Answer:

memory, hard drive, size(dimensions), preferences!
well it depends on what you want for your laptop. you should see the processor speed and also the harddisk capacity, the RAM and also the graphic card
Make sure that it has Centrino Duo No Windows Vista A lot of RAM space/memory space Graphics card All the default materials without customization Good battery life
Optimal Performance: try to find core 2 duo processors, 1gb DDR2 ram, and 80gb hardisk. OR 2gb DDR2 ram, 160~180gb hardisk. Try to find 2 hardisk labtops. It will help the system to boot faster and starting up system activities. So if 80gb, try to find 2 hardisk labtops with one like 20gb's and 60gb. The smaller master/system hardisk, the better the performance will be. Secondary/slave hardisk, no need to worry. About the brands, try to find Acer or HP. They have lots of stuffs on watchin TVs. If you want high quality performance, try to find Dell, but dell doesn't have much choices, coz dell doesn't focus on that. Don't try to buy sony VAIO, toshiba, and anykinds of stupid stuff. Sony does comfort your eyes, buy it doesn't satisfy your heart on performance and long term use.
Buy a laptop which has good technical specs. Such as: -Good processor (core 2 duo) -Good amount RAM (2 GB) So that your laptop will run fast and smooth.
