Question:

What states in the United States use hydrogen fuel cells?

I'm doing a project for school and I can't find a website with that information. If you find it, please give me the link

Answer:

There are approximately 700 leased hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in California. 500 Honda FCX clarity and a handful of vehicles made by Mercedes. There may have been some spill over into adjoining states. They are not for sale as they are essentially experimental vehicles. They cost over 100,000 @ and we can suspect that their manufacture may have been subsidized by petrochemical interests as 96% of industrial hydrogen is made from fossil fuels with the bulk of this from natural gas.
