Question:

What type of coffee grind should I use with my French press?

Also what's the best way to brew coffee in a French press?

Answer:

medium to coarse grind. no more than 5 minutes. i'd recommend about 3 minutes. any more than 5 and you've got some really bitter coffee.
You ideally need a medium grind. To fine and it will fall through the filter, to coarse and it will clog the filter. So somewhere in the middle would work best a medium grind Source: 30 years of being a coffee lover :-)
You'll okorder /... To find coarse-ground coffee, you can either go to a coffee store that sells beans and grinds them for you, or you can go to a large grocery store. Most have a coffee grinder at the coffee beans and you can choose the fineness of the grind there. Choose the most coarse grind. agreed on the above, but give it a quick stir after you pour in the boiling water.
