Question:

What was this '60s brand name?

As I remember it, in the late '60s crafts stores like Moskatel's/Michael's sold hanging light fixture kits that required you to fill in the diamond-shaped wire mesh with colorful pieces that you made by pouring a stinky two-part epoxy resin (I think) into a moldYou would leave the mold to dry, and then you would pop out the pieces and glue them onto the diamond mesh. Was there a brand name for that craft kit?Or was there just simply a name for that specific type of craft?

Answer:

I never used a rackYou can use a row of celery or carrots if you wantI usually flip it over instead of using a rack.
It takes about 2 1/2 to 3 hours to cook a turkey at 325FIf you're cooking one overnight, no wonder they are dry.
the rack is for lifting the bird out of the roaster after baking itMake one using heavy cotton cord like package ties! I don't bother with recipes for a lot of thingsI change the recipes if I don't have that equipmentTurkey used to come with a cotton netting to put under him and he was placed in a pan with the netting on so we could get him out of the roasting pan and onto the serving platter without doing a floor thing! So make a hammock like thing knotting the cording to fit under him!!
In the US, it was probably called Whimsy Dip or Liquid PlasticIn the UK, it is called Dip-it Fantasy filmIn France, it is called VitrifloreYou might find something similar in the US called Pretty PetalsApparently, the fumes were quite toxic, so it was discontinued in the USand they have have developed something that is not quite the same, but comes closeOh, My, is this starting to show my age, if I remember this stuff?!!?
