Question:

What went wrong with the blow in insulation here?

we put blow in insulation between the second floor ceiling and attic floor in the fall of 2007.(The house has a flat deck)It worked wellNo ice formed on the roof during that last winterThis winter began, and in one area of the flat roof ice formedThis seems to indicate to me that heat from the attic was getting thru the insulation and causing the roof bottom to melt the snow that fell on itThat is what I wanted to avoid because ice formation on a flat deck damages a roofDoes anyone know why ice would form now after last year there was no ice formation ever?

Answer:

Animal burrowing could have disturbed the insulation to allow heat escapeInvestigate
Wrap foil around the rack in the oven-it will work fine.or turn over a cake pan use the bottom.
with the foil you can just spray it first as it still might stick also when you get them off the alfoil might tear your best bet is to put the waxed paper over the top like you said at the end
Do you have any parchment paper you could put on top of your cookie sheet? Else spray, like the other fellow saidI don't think I'd use the wax paper, you're supposed to be able to use it in cake pans when you make cakes but I've found that it sticks to the cakes REALLY badSorry about your move delay! That's a pain having everything packed up like that.
I always bake my biscuits on aluminum foilMy cookie sheet is kinda old, so I always line it with aluminum foilYou just have to use a spatula to separate some from the foil right after you take them out of the oven
