Question:

What will clean a stain on a limestone surface?

I have recently found a stain I cannot remove on my limestone kitchen surface are there any suggestions on how to get it off as i have tried a few ways but they wont work.

Answer:

not enough info but are you sure its not installed backwares
The latch is not engaging completely. Adjust the latch plate on the door frame
For banging around in a glove box i would use a revolver. Check your State laws to see if doing that is legal. And keep the vehicle registration over the visor, not in the glove box.
is the deadbolt, or the protruding part of the latch assembly coming out? you need to 'lock the door' when it's open to see if that part is functioning. if it is, then it sounds like it is not aligned with the hole and is just hitting up against the surface. if it is 'throwing' (coming out), try pulling against the door when you lock it. if it then locks, it is alignment. an adjustment of the jamb of the door is necessary. if it doesn't throw, then you can either take it out, check out the mechanism, oil it lightly (a spray or 2 of w-40 will do), move it back and forth manually, then see if it will do so with just the key. being that you would have to remember to check it each time you locked it, personally, i wouldn't trust it even if it did unjam. i'd just go buy myself a new kwikset lock.
